Example of Inversions of Complex Expressions

If a and b are complex expressions, the inversion of each expression is likely to be even more complex.

If Statement:     Compiler Interpretation:
IF a THEN
   c = d;

IF a THEN
   c = d;
END IF;
ELSIF b THEN
   c = e;

IF !a & b THEN
   c = e;
END IF;
ELSE
   c = f;

IF !a & !b THEN
   c = f;
END IF;

END IF;
